CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

In continuous improvement projects, we help our customers to systematically minimize or eliminate activities that do not add value (waste) from their operational and support processes.

Instead of focusing on isolated reviews of activities, assets or even areas, we horizontally analyze the flow of products and services throughout the organization, maximizing added value to the end customer and aiming to eliminate all waste.

To review each step, we apply a process with the five principles of lean methodology:

  • Identify each product’s value from the consumer's point of view
  • Map the different steps in the analyzed process, identifying those that add value to the product and those that can be eliminated
  • Join the steps that add value to the product, creating a continuous value flow and minimizing the time to the consumer
  • Establish a Pull production system, only offering the products demanded by the consumer
  • Strive for perfection by starting the process over again

Continuous improvement projects need a cultural change in the organization and are most effective when the change is rooted in the company.
